Doug DeMuro Says This Sprinter Van Tiny House Has Everything You Need To Live Off The Grid

Doug DeMuro has previously emphasized the practicality and performance of many Mercedes-Benz models including his former E63 AMG wagon, as well as his current E450 All-Terrain. Despite lacking comparable performance, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 4x4 gets similar high praise from Doug. In a recent video, Doug showcases a Sprinter tiny home conversion van with under 10,000 miles, a diesel 6-cylinder engine, and four-wheel-drive. With that in mind, the popular automotive YouTuber tells us why this particular Sprinter van camper is a smart choice for those wanting to live "off the grid". Doug begins his usual tour in the Sprinter's rear cabin space. Like an RV, the Sprinter comes with a miniature kitchen set, equipped with a refrigerator, mini freezer, cooktop hot plate, and sink with a lower cabinet. The kitchen countertop is of bamboo wood. Along with tweed wall material, the interior feels very much up to standard with Mercedes luxury. Beyond aesthetics, Doug notes this tiny home camper covers everything from a practical standpoint as well. With 6 outlets and various USB ports, most electrical components remained stored away under the inward-facing benches. The bed can extend above these benches, or be removed for a table set up on the floor between the benches. The table can shift in different spots along the benches or stored away between the sink and the driver's seat. For more storage, this Sprinter has overhead compartments above the inward-facing benches. Above that is a ceiling fan, which unfortunately substitutes for rear-compartment air conditioning. Still, all the windows can open for air, some of which include bug screens.
